Claire is from Co Armagh and she uses nature around her to inspire her pieces. 

"Intricate properties in nature are translated as surface decoration onto my work showing the structures and layering in living organisms and sea life etc. The microscopic details of coral and pollen grains inspire the heavily decorated surfaces of my works. Other interests stem from fabric and textile patterns and also geometrical shapes, many of which have links to natural sources."
